Nemacolin: scenographic lighting and LED lighting decorations for a luxury resort in the USA

Located in the heart of Pennsylvania, Nemacolin is one of the most emblematic luxury resorts in the United States. Awarded the Forbes Travel Guide and regularly featured in Vogue magazine, this exceptional resort stands out for its refined architecture, vast natural spaces and upscale customer experiences.

To enhance its appeal during the winter season, Némacolin decided to create a unique, immersive lighting experience. The objective: to transform the resort into a spectacular night-time destination, thanks to custom LED scenographic lighting that is simultaneously elegant, sustainable and respectful of their architectural identity.

This large-scale project was entrusted to Leblanc illuminations, an international specialist in professional light decorations and high-end architectural lighting.

The challenge: to design high-end LED lighting decorations for a prestigious resort.

The main challenge was to design a premium lighting pathway capable of sublimating the entire resort without ever altering its elegance. Several strategic objectives guided the project's design:

• Create a warm, immersive lighting ambience for guests

• Integrate durable, high-performance and aesthetically pleasing LED lighting decorations

• Respect the resort's vegetation andarchitecture

• Offer a harmonious visual experience day and night

• Reinforce the resort's upscale image and character

Each installation had to fit in with the scenographic lighting scheme, designed to enhance the surroundings, pathways and landscaped areas.

The Leblanc Illuminations solution: custom LED light scenography

To meet the requirements of this exceptional resort, the Leblanc Illuminations teams deployed a global approach based on three pillars: creativity, immersion and sustainability.

• An in-depth technical and aesthetic study identified the strategic areas to be enhanced

• More than 850 customized LED lighting decorations were created, combining customized design and high-quality materials.

• A coherent, scalable lighting scenography was developed, alternating intimate atmospheres with spectacular settings.

The result is a coherent pattern of lighting, naturally guiding visitors from the reception areas to the gardens and outdoor areas, while reinforcing the resort's visual identity.
