CSR 26000: Leblanc illuminations strengthens its commitment with Gold level certification

It is with immense pride that we announce the renewal of our Apave RSE 26000 certification until 2027, with a major step forward this year: we have reached Gold level, a high distinction awarded by Apave Certification.

This recognition acknowledges our deep and lasting commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). It attests to our ability to integrate social, environmental and ethical dimensions into all our activities.

What is the CSR 26000 label?

The CSR 26000 label assesses the maturity of a company's CSR approach in preventing the social, economic and environmental risks to which its employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders are increasingly attentive. Achieving Gold level status means demonstrating excellence in each of these areas.

A collective success

This success is above all the fruit of a collective commitment. Thanks to the mobilization of all our teams, their daily involvement and their willingness to act responsibly, we have reached a new milestone in our CSR approach.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all our employees for their essential contribution to this success. Their hard work and determination have enabled Leblanc illuminations to shine even brighter.

This label is not an end in itself, but a lever to go even further. It commits us to pursuing our efforts, innovating, strengthening our responsible partnerships and continuing to make our company an exemplary player in sustainable development.

Leblanc illuminations, a committed and responsible company

The first company in its sector to be ISO 9001 certified in 2014, and a member of the Coq Vert Community since 2022 for a global acceleration of the environmental and energy transition, Leblanc illuminations has since this year also been committed to the NGO WeForest in a carbon offset and sequestration program, supporting reforestation and ecological restoration projects to combat climate change.

In 2024, Leblanc illuminations announced the remarkable results of its carbon footprint, with a 43% drop in greenhouse gas emissions.

Why did you embark on a CSR approach?

"We were convinced that CSR could be a lever for performance and sustainability, while giving greater meaning to our various missions, i.e. enabling us to structure our actions in favor of the environment, well-being in the workplace and society. This also enables us to meet the growing CSR expectations of our customers and partners, as requested in calls for tender."

Why did you choose the "RSE 26000 - Apave Certification" label?

"The "RSE 26000 - Apave Certification" label gives us official recognition, based on a credible international benchmark. We appreciated the clarity of the reference framework and the methodological soundness of the audit. It was an opportunity to have our practices assessed by an independent body specializing in the ISO 26000 standard."

How would you describe the support we provided?

"The support was both rigorous and benevolent. We benefited from concrete advice on how to structure and improve our internal procedures. The various exchanges enabled us to clarify our challenges and define realistic, yet ambitious, objectives."

What were the key stages in obtaining the label?

"We first carried out a diagnostic of our practices, then identified precise objectives in terms of governance, the environment, social issues and relations with our stakeholders. The project team coordinated the implementation of the actions, followed by an external audit. Finally, the validation of the audit enabled us to obtain the label."

What concrete benefits have you seen since obtaining the label?

"We believe that the label has strengthened the confidence of our customers and partners, and that it has helped mobilize our employees around a common project. We're also seeing greater visibility for our CSR commitments, since we're the most-labeled company in our sector."

What would you say to a company still hesitating to obtain the RSE 26000 - Apave Certification label?

"The label is a real opportunity to promote our actions and structure our CSR approach. It provides additional credibility with stakeholders and stimulates team commitment. It's an investment that brings a positive return on image and performance in the medium and long term. It also implies constant renewal and innovation."
