During the festive season, the magic of the Christmas lights creates a magical atmosphere that enchants young and old alike. With this in mind, the city of Béziers decided to transform Paul Riquet Avenue into a veritable trail of lights. Working in partnership with Leblanc Illuminations, the leading manufacturer of festive light displays since 1958, the city wanted to create an immersive, unforgettable experience. The project aimed not only to brighten up the festive season, but also to bring residents and visitors together and boost local appeal. Thanks to an innovative combination of cutting-edge technology and creative design, the park has been transformed into a glittering, enchanting universe, where every nook and cranny invites discovery and wonder.
Béziers, a charming town in the Hérault department of the Occitanie region, is renowned for its rich historical heritage and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. During the festive season, the municipality wanted to enhance the city's appeal and offer residents and visitors alike a unique and memorable experience. The Béziers Park illumination project was part of this vision.
The city's main objective was to create a magical light trail that would capture everyone's attention and become a major point of attraction during the festive season. In collaboration with Leblanc Illuminations, the aim was to ensure that the decorations were eco-responsible, using recycled and recyclable materials. All this while minimizing energy consumption and maximizing the sparkling, luminous effect of these custom-made Christmas lights!
A spectacular light trail transformed the park into a veritable fairytale landscape. The project involved the installation of no fewer than 64 luminous structures, each meticulously chosen and positioned to maximize visual impact and visitor amazement. Among these installations, an alley of twinkling angels welcomed visitors as they entered, leading up to the park's main Christmas tree.
Numerous Christmas trees and giant glowing teddy bears were strategically placed to attract attention and provide memorable photo opportunities. A luminous Ferris wheel, visible from afar, added a dynamic, festive dimension to the entire route. Large illuminated baubles and glowing snowmen completed the enchanted scene, each element contributing to the overall fairytale atmosphere. In addition, a host of other illuminated decorations provided a rich and varied experience for every visitor.
The Leblanc Illuminations team was responsible for the coherent implementation of the lighting installations. Ensuring that every detail contributed to creating a magical atmosphere. Custom lighting decorations were strategically placed to maximize visual impact and offer visitors total immersion in an enchanted world.
